United States politicians are calling on the United Kingdom to stop pushing abortion policies on the people of Northern Ireland.

Partial-birth abortion will be permitted and it will be legal for babies born alive post-abortion to be left to die with no medical care.

This all happening amid the panic surrounding COVID-19. Sign the petition to defeat these unwanted extreme abortion policies!

Dear John,

I find it disturbing that when many around the world are worried about how the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) will affect their lives, and as we see unprecedented travel bans and closures -- those in power on the left continue to exploit the current climate to push heinous abortion policy.

These political figures expect that the public is not paying attention. But, you and I are watching their actions closely!

As of now, here in the United States, we’ve witnessed Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democrats in the House of Representatives attempt to misuse a bill that was meant to support the federal government’s fight of the Coronavirus to include provisions for government-funded abortions.

As you just heard from Caroline Farrow, in New Zealand, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern supported Infanticide, consultations for abortions via Facebook, and much more as the New Zealand Parliament passed one of the most extreme anti-life laws that I’ve ever seen to support abortion!

This all happening amid the panic surrounding COVID-19.

And now, again, the right to life for pre-born babies finds itself under attack. This time in Northern Ireland.

Please join me in signing a petition on our platform authored by Right to Life to prevent Boris Johnson’s conservative government in the United Kingdom from imposing an extreme abortion framework on Northern Ireland, which goes far beyond the existing law in England, Wales, and Scotland

It’s impressive to watch CitizenGOers stand up for pre-born babies here in the United States and abroad.

You may recall, back in October 2019, despite the best efforts of campaigners and politicians, abortion was legalized in Northern Ireland, because the local government could not reconvene in time.

Over 100,000 CitizenGOers signed our petition to put pressure on Sinn Fein (political party) to reconvene, but they did not listen.

The new legislation only allows abortion in Northern Ireland to take place for 3 reasons: a threat to the mother’s life or health, life-limiting disability, and in cases of rape or incest.

Boris Johnson’s new framework proposes going way beyond this minimum. It will mean that many more additional lives are lost and will endanger the health and safety of pregnant women.

Additionally, this framework will allow for abortion right up until birth for disability, including for babies with Downs Syndrome and children who have club foot and cleft palate, both of which are easily treatable conditions.

Abortion would be allowed for any reason up until 22 or 24 weeks.

There would be no legal requirements for doctors to be involved and no restrictions on where abortion can take place: locations could include schools, mobile abortion units, and ‘Facetime consultations’.

If Boris Johnson goes ahead, partial-birth abortion will be allowed in Northern Ireland and it will be legal for babies born alive post-abortion to be left to die with no medical care. Neither will there be any mandate for pain relief for babies being aborted.

The pro-abortion lobbyists always try to claim that legalized abortion makes women safer. If Boris Johnson goes ahead with these plans, then sex-selective abortion which always adversely targets females will be allowed. It will also be more difficult to prosecute men who attempt to harm their unborn child and commit acts such as slipping abortion pills into a mother’s food.

Join me and sign our petition to send a strong message to Boris Johnson that he must not force such a horrific regime upon Northern Ireland and protect pregnant women and babies.

This call to action has gone worldwide!

Pro-life members of the United States Congress Chris Smith, Andy Harris, Ann Wagner, and Vicky Hartzler boldly wrote a letter to the U.K. secretary of state for Northern Ireland to call on Boris Johnson’s government to let Northern Ireland decide their own law.

“Abortion on demand is not the will of the people in Northern Ireland, and if it were, Northern Ireland has a duly constituted Assembly by which it can balance equities and legislate on the matter,” according to the letter.

Sign the petition to defeat these unwanted extreme abortion policies in Northern Ireland.

Thank you,

Gregory Mertz and the entire CitizenGO Team
