Deeply unwise people are running our government, and they continually lead us down deeply unwise paths.
One example is American leadership's handling of the COVID pandemic. The lockdowns were dangerous, the vaccine strategy was reckless, and the discrimination against Americans who refused to comply was draconian. Despite this, based on recent history, there's a real possibility that the architects of those policies will be rewarded, not punished. That can't stand.
