HAPPENING TODAY: HELP RECRUIT OUR NEXT
SAN DIEGO CHIEF OF POLICE
The City of San Diego is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as the next Police Chief – and YOU have a say in the process. Join a community discussion in La Jolla to share your preferred priorities, qualifications, and qualities.
SAN DIEGO IS GETTING STRONGER EVERY DAY
Mayor Todd Gloria gave his fourth State of the City address, emphasizing San Diego’s increasing progress and strength. We are indeed “getting stronger every day” with our mutual efforts to protect our people and property, provide options for our unhoused, and push through our backlog of deferred maintenance.
SAFETY AND INFRASTRUCTURE UPDATE
Another intersection made safer for pedestrians—new stop signs, striping, and bollards on Mission Blvd and Thomas Ave in Pacific Beach.

For infrastructure and safety projects you would like to see in your neighborhood, please call my office at 619-236-6611, send me an email at [email protected], or attend a local meeting with one of my council representatives to let us know how we can help you get it done.
CONSTITUENT SERVICE IMPROVEMENTS
Our Public Utilities Department (PUD) offers web forms for many routine account tasks, including starting or stopping water and wastewater service. Web forms easily and quickly address inquiries, and do not require a phone call. Submitted forms are addressed by a Customer Services Representative within 1 to 3 business days.
SUPPORTING OUR NORTHWESTERN DIVISION RSVP
I used my Community Projects, Programs, and Services (CPPS) funding to support our Northwestern Division Retired Service Volunteer Patrol (RSVP). RSVP assists our police and community with increased crime prevention programs like vacation house checks, ‘You Are Not Alone,’ and community awareness. Thank you, RSVP.
