The legal situation concerning McCarthy's chosen successor for CA-20 continues to evolve, but folks across the aisle can all agree on one thing:

This all could have been avoided if McCarthy hadn’t announced his resignation so late, but those of us in the Central Valley know that McCarthy’s #1 priority has always been himself.

Now, California legislators are planning to introduce a bill prohibiting candidates from running for two seats at once.

John, I certainly can’t teach two classes at once, and trying to hold two separate political offices at the same time makes even less sense.

Not only could Vince Fong leave AD-32 without representation until a special election is called, but the CA Secretary of State’s office also has to print new ballots because some already got sent without Fong’s name on them.

It’s clear that Fong is committed to carrying out McCarthy’s legacy of chaos.
