Three years after the violent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, ensuring our elections remain free and fair amidst the rising threats against them is essential to our democracy.
That’s why right at the start of this critical election year, I need to know my supporters agree:
Gerrymandering, voter suppression, disinformation, deep pocketed mega donors and corporations…. These are only a few of the tactics that extremists use to try and weaken the foundation of our country.
These attacks will not stop. Which is why we can’t stop fighting back.
Just a few years ago, I voted for legislation to protect our freedom to vote and ensure equality at the ballot box.
As your representative, I will always defend our individual rights and freedoms—and stand up for our democracy. But without control of the House, we know real action to protect our elections from these attacks aren’t going to become law.
And with more attacks coming against the Voting Rights Act this year, we know anti-democracy extremists are not going to let up.
