As we start the new year, Republicans are starting the same way they always do – treating Congress like a game and using our government to protect their own extremist agenda.

Just days before a government shutdown, with war raging in Gaza and Ukraine, and Americans at home facing real problems that require our attention, House Republicans want us to know that their highest priority is, once again , Hunter Biden.

Not only that, they are also wasting time and energy to try to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas instead of simply working on bipartisan solutions to our immigration system.

It’s unacceptable that Republicans are still using lies, misuse of power, and authoritarian tactics in Congress. We should be focused on real issues and delivering real results for the American people.

Ever since taking the House majority, Republicans have done nothing but cause chaos and uncertainty at the cost of the American people. They care more about their political gain and doing whatever they can to get Trump back in office.
