Greetings Friend, It has been an honor serving Fairbanksans and Alaskans in the Senate these past two years. As I head down to Juneau next week to start the regular session, I wanted to tell you about the work I have accomplished with a strong bipartisan Senate Majority and work to come. The Senate Bipartisan Majority has been able to secure more education funds from Pre-K to UAF, pass a balanced budget with a sizeable PFD and ensure that we are an appropriate check and balance to Governor Dunleavy. The next few months the Senate will need to remain focused again on ensuring a permanent increase to education funding, improving government efficiencies that are strained and promoting a healthy economy. But I cannot do it alone and I need your support! To be direct, my campaign for re-election to the Senate will be the top race to watch, with the most participation and the most money! Personal contributions are now unlimited and legislators will not be able to raise any money during the session that begins in January. After this date, campaign donations, including your generous support, must be suspended until the session concludes in late May 2024. Your continued support is vital in securing victory and countering any well-funded opposition. Please consider making a contribution before the end of the year, ensuring our campaign remains strong and resilient. Thank you for standing by me in this critical moment...Scott Kawasaki Stay connected to hear how I'm showing up for our community by following me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
