Thank goodness for Dr. Anthony Fauci [link removed]! His leadership brings credibility to White House efforts to lead our nation’s response to the pandemic.
Dr. Anthony Fauci’s [link removed] exemplary professional career prepared him for this moment. His example of being ultimately prepared for this moment is a reason we teach our children well. It’s why boy scouts and girl scouts learn to “Be Prepared.” It’s why we demand high states of readiness and vigilance from our military, intelligence and law enforcement professionals. This crisis reminds us that health care workers also sacrifice for our survival. We are profoundly grateful for their service.
November’s election will be the time for accountability for the federal government’s flatfooted response. As we face down the greatest pandemic of our time, let’s prepare for the election of our lives.

Congressional leadership improved significantly in 2018 when a record number of military veterans helped form the House of Representatives’ Democratic majority. I’m proud to be a veteran and one of the few 2020 candidates competing in a highly competitive and winnable race.
I hear from Northwest Floridians regularly about how much they despise Gaetz’s disgraceful gasmask mockery and his fawning praise of incompetence. His failure to support bipartisan Congressional action to support everyday people during this pandemic is not what we need in an elected official. Americans yearn for leadership.
