Threats of government shutdowns and defaults, ousting their own Speaker of the House and countless messy fights over his replacement, an historically unproductive legislative session, baseless "investigations" and impeachment inquiries–that is what the GOP did with their House majority in 2023.

Now, House Republicans are getting to work by… announcing ANOTHER baseless impeachment.

This could all just be fodder for the jokes if it wasn’t so devastating to the American people. We have big problems as a country, but House Republicans are making no attempt to solve them whatsoever. These baseless impeachments serve only to boost Trump’s personal agenda and provide platforms for shameless Republican members to fundraise.

Meanwhile, the impeachment inquiry into Biden continues. It is not a serious investigation. It is a campaign strategy to support MAGA and appease Donald Trump. The GOP’s playbook is to distract voters during an election season as opposed to actually working for the people, as they were elected to do.

Enough with the GOP’s dirty tricks! Our officials were elected to represent and work for the people, not to grandstand and campaign for MAGA while they waste time and money. Last year was an historically ineffective year for Congress. It’s time House Republicans stop their baseless impeachment efforts and focus their time and energy on working for the people in 2024.
