As a Fiscal Analyst 2 in the Accounts Receivable team of the Finance Division, you will play a crucial role in independently executing a range of fiscal responsibilities under general supervision. Adhering to state regulations, agency policies, and accounts receivable procedures, you will conduct precise financial analyses of accounting and fiscal data. Your primary responsibilities will include resolving receivable discrepancies and ensuring the constant accuracy and completeness of all billing and accounts receivable transactions for client agencies. Working in alignment with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), state regulations, and the policies of the Department of Enterprise Services and client agencies, you will contribute to the overall efficiency of government operations. By focusing on receivable discrepancy resolution, you will enable DES programs and small agency partners to concentrate on their respective missions, while ensuring the provision of accurate financial data and reports. This position reports to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and requires effective interaction with Finance Division staff, managers, and personnel from client agencies, local governments, and external customers/vendors, with assignments communicated verbally and in writing by the DES Small Agency Financial Services (SAFS) Accounts Receivable Supervisor.
