Happy New Year! As I write this, I’ve just returned from Palm Beach where I served as the Chair of US Ambassadors for the International Red Cross Ball. The Red Cross helps people in need all over the world and I have encouraged them to do more for the hostages held by Hamas terrorists.

I was blessed to spend Thanksgiving with my family and my dear daughter Allie and stepson Jon who both crossed the country to join us in Pennsylvania.

Allie and I spent Christmas with my dear sister Deborah, her husband and wonderful family in Atlanta, GA.

Now as we begin 2024, we face an election year and a clean slate for all of us. I typically write down goals at the beginning of each year and continue to refresh them throughout the year as I acknowledge and thank God for each blessing.

I remain the Vice Chair of the Center for Energy and Environment at AFPI where we are working with Congress and the Senate to draft energy policies that will secure and protect our clean environment and affordably power our nation.

To promote good legislation at the state level and focus on the 19 pivotal counties (four of which are in Pennsylvania) for the election of 2024, AFPI has opened five state chapters and intends to open one in all the states within several years. I am serving as chair for the AFPI Pennsylvania Chapter. We recently hired an outstanding, Executive Director, Mary Stiffler. Our goal is to support good policies and work with Pennsylvania’s elected leaders to reverse the trend of population and GDP loss in the state and you can read more about it here.

Sadly, there is a continual assault by the Biden administration on our history and our constitutional rights. Two immediate examples come to my mind. President Biden recently announced that his administration was planning to remove the William Penn statue at his historic home in Philadelphia and replace the story of Penn’s founding of Pennsylvania in the 1600’s with a park about Native Americans. Thankfully, this effort has been stopped. There is a constant attempt by the left to erase the history of our great nation’s founding.

The second recent example is ongoing, and an urgent concern where you can make a difference. The Biden administration and the SEC are proposing a new financial vehicle called a NAC or Natural Asset Company. The danger of this investment vehicle is that it gives over control of Federal, State and some private property's mineral and farming rights and other uses to the NACs and prevents any activity that’s not sustainable.  So, large scale farming or energy production would be banned and controlled by the NAC because it’s not sustainable. Further, our greatest advisories such as Russia and China can invest in the NACs and control how Americans can use their land. For instance, Russia could stop us from producing fossil fuels and China theoretically could starve our population.

The purported goal of the NAC is to protect the land and promote sustainability, but the result will cripple the American economy. Please take some time to share your comments as there are 7 days left and your comments, your voice, will make a difference.  Here is the link for comments and here is this link that includes opposition letters signed by Senators, Congressmen, 23 state financial officers, and Governors. This link also has a lot of comprehensive information about NACs.

There’s an excellent Wall Street Op-ed here about the NACs that lays out the SEC, Biden, and globalist organization’s ESG goals implemented via the NACs. Expect more attacks on our constitutional rights this year.

I’m happy to share some of the things I have been up to since we’ve last communicated.

President Trump welcomed some of his former ambassadors to the Mar A Lago Club

With our wide open border and American school children being left without a school in order house illegal immigrants, strong American leadership is needed now more than ever. Irans's proxies, Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthi rebels are causing terror and chaos and the global supply chain is being disrupted by them. This is all because of weakness in the White House.

Please consider joining me at the Mar A Lago Club in Palm Beach, FL to support our presumptive Republican nominee, President Donald J. Trump. Here’s the invitation.

Until next time.
