Join us for a special evening of storytelling from LGBTQ+ youth impacted by GLSEN’s mission, special guests, and updates on our critical work! Guests will gather for a cocktail reception in the nation’s capital followed by a program filled with legislative champions, policymakers, and LGBTQ+ youth impacted by GLSEN’s mission.

Rise Up D.C. also features GLSEN’s annual Educator of the Year Award, which recognizes individuals committed to creating an environment free of harassment and bullying for all K-12 Students. The evening caps off with mixing and mingling at a dessert reception.

All proceeds from this event fuel GLSEN’s mission to ensure a safe, supportive, and LGBTQ+-inclusive K-12 education for all students.
