Dear Friend,

As someone committed to serving the people of Georgia's 11th Congressional District, I feel a profound responsibility to address an event that shook our nation to its core: the January 6th insurrection. I'm Antonio Daza, a Democratic candidate running to represent Georgia’s CD11.

Almost 21 years ago I came to the U.S. fleeing an oppressive dictatorship in Venezuela under the Chavez regime and seeking the American dream; and that’s why the events of January 6 played such an important role in my decision to run for Congress back in 2021 and it continues to be a driving force as I run again. Witnessing the echoes of past turmoil in my native Venezuela within the heart of American democracy compelled me to step up.

What happened on January 6 is a reminder to reflect on how fragile democracy is, remember that it cannot be taken for granted, and recognize the responsibility each of us have to defend it. We deserve a representative who stands for progress, who will counter terrorism, and who will uphold our constitution.

I'm not just another political face—I'm a trailblazer, an advocate, and a champion of change with a story deeply rooted in the pursuit of democracy, justice and progress, my vision for our district is a heartfelt commitment to a future where democracy thrives, where justice is accessible to all, and where the voices often muted in the margins are amplified to bring about tangible change.

So, let me ask for your support, not just in words, but in action. Your donation, no matter the size, fuels this movement towards the changes we've been waiting for, ensuring our voices are heard, and our rights are protected.

Stand with me today to show the power of our collective voice.

In solidarity and gratitude.

Antonio Daza
