“Over the next 20 years, we’re going to see profound changes in how we do science.” CZI's Head of Science Steve Quake shares our vision for using AI to help researchers make discoveries about human biology.
CZI is building one of the largest AI computing systems for nonprofit life science research that will be used to train models based on biologically important sources of data. Our goal is to provide scientists with access to virtual cells that can help predict how cells react to an infection, for example, or how a patient may respond to a new medication.
Learn how we’re building AI tools to uncover new insights about how our cells function to identify and treat diseases earlier.
