January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month!

This month, PACT is partnering with local transit authorities, research experts, and PACT’s Survivors' Council members ([link removed]) to disrupt child sex trafficking at the intersection of public transportation with a new campaign called TACT ([link removed]) - Transit Against Child Trafficking.

The goal of this new campaign is to equip transit workers and riders with the tools they need to recognize the signs of child sex trafficking and safely report them.

As a concerned citizen, you too can help identify the signs of human trafficking and prevent it from happening. If you spot suspicious activity, never directly intervene and instead call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-3888 or text at BEFREE.

Follow us across our platforms to stay involved and continue to keep our kids safer:
* Stay informed on social media by following the hashtag #KnowTheSigns
* Learn about the signs of child sex trafficking on TACT ([link removed])
* Check out our latest b ([link removed]) log post ([link removed])
* Have a peak at the great work our two transit partners do to help eradicate human trafficking: Capital District Transportation Authority ([link removed]) in the Albany region of New York, and Rio Metro Regional Transit District ([link removed]) in the Albuquerque-Santa Fe region of New Mexico.

THANK YOU 💚 🙌

PACT is happy to announce that we surpassed our end-of-year fundraising goals for 2023!

Thanks to your generous contributions, we are able to continue building a world where no child is ever bought, sold, or used for sex.

As a frequent traveler, should you be concerned about human trafficking?

Traffickers often use travel infrastructure such as hotels and airlines to transport and exploit their victims. It is therefore crucial for travel professionals like you to know the signs of trafficking to be able to disrupt this criminal activity.
