It's almost petition season here in PA. Team Daniels is getting ready to secure Shamaine's place on the Democratic ballot in April, and we're asking for your help.
In case you aren't familiar, candidates for office in Pennsylvania need to gather signatures on nominating petitions in order to get their name on the ballot. Congressional candidates need to collect a minimum of 1,000 signatures from registered voters of their party in their district.
Here at Team Daniels, our goal is to collect at least 1,500 to 2,000 signatures of registered Democrats in PA-10. This is no small task because these signatures must be gathered in-person. We will be relying on volunteers across the district to knock on doors and host petition signing events to help us reach our goal. That means we need clipboards, pens (that work in cold temperatures), water, hot coffee and snacks for volunteers, and lots of cookies and other treats for supporters who are opening their homes to host a petition signing event.
