A few weeks ago I visited a friend who worked on campaigns with me during the exciting Obama years. One of her first comments to me was along the lines of “ We used to call ourselves Progressives. We didn’t change, what happened? ”

Over the next few months, New Democracy is going to double down on our role as the homebase for center-left Democrats in all levels of government, to ramp up our support for moderate Dems in primaries, and to help them succeed in general elections.
We want mainstream Democrats to know that there is a community of folks here to support them on policy, grassroots energy, and other elected officials to share tips and lessons learned.
We need to connect and to tell our stories. We’d love to hear yours! We’ll share (anonymously of course!) stories with you when we collect them. Mind taking a minute or two to let us know how you feel about your place in the Democratic Party?
I’ll share my story! [[link removed]]
The truth is that because our party has been pulled to the far populist left, Democrats are in trouble.
Each anecdote helps us unify. Thank you for participating!

New Democracy [[[link removed]] is a home base for center-left leaders and activists dedicated to radically pragmatic change at all levels of government. It is building an infrastructure of grassroots support to help Democrats compete everywhere in America, with the ultimate goal of realigning U.S. politics around a broad and durable center-left majority.
Last cycle, New Democracy spent over $10 million to educate voters on issues vital to working Americans’ economic aspirations and upward mobility, and to support mainstream candidates for public office.
