John, our last email to freinds like you shared the terrible truth about how many children are trafficked and sexually exploited.
Today we want to highlight another very real and awful truth: the online sexual exploitation of children is on the rise in our digital age.

In 2022 alone, 1 in 100 children were sexually exploited in livestreams in the Philippines. Imagine if a child you knew and loved was trafficked and trapped in this unthinkable abuse.
It is difficult to think about, but for millions of children, it's a truth they endure daily.

During Human Trafficking Awareness Month, we hope you’ll learn more about and help fight
the online sexual abuse of children and modern slavery in all its forms. It’s a terrible reality we at IJM are working tirelessly to end.
