The New York Times: "McConnell Has a Request for Veteran Federal Judges: Please Quit"

john -- Mitch McConnell is trying to convince federal judges to retire early, so he can rush-confirm his preferred judges before the 2020 election.

For the past three years, McConnell and President Trump have used their power to stack federal judicial benches with judges who will vote in their interests, but now that they're at risk of losing the Senate Majority and the White House, McConnell is personally asking judges to step aside so he can fill their positions with his preferred candidates to maintain their iron-grip on the judicial system for years to come.

john: We need to flip the Senate with leaders who will act based on the needs of Americans and not their own political interests.

Chip in before the FEC end-of-quarter deadline →

McConnell has chosen to spend his time trying to persuade judges to retire instead of taking up important bills that would ensure American families have access to affordable health care and that would lower the cost of prescription medications.

McConnell's priorities are out of whack.

We need to flip the Senate and remove McConnell from leadership, and our race is key to making it happen. If you can, please chip in before the first FEC deadline of the election year.

Thanks,

Team Mackler
