Challenge Success Partners with MTC

Challenge Success and Mastery Transcript Consortium™ (MTC) have partnered in a three-year pilot program to offer our survey research tool to MTC’s growing network of public and private member high schools who are co-designing the Mastery Transcript, a high school transcript that supports mastery learning and reflects the unique skills, strengths, and interests of each learner.

The partnership is a natural step for our two organizations who share a focus on improving and enriching the high-school experience for all students. The work of MTC is particularly aligned with the "A" (alternative and authentic assessments) in the Challenge Success SPACE framework

“This is an important partnership for MTC, as it will help our member schools make data-driven decisions to enhance the culture of learning for their students,” said Stacy Caldwell, CEO of MTC.

Strategies for Student Well-Being and Engagement with Learning

Challenge Success partners with schools, families, and communities to embrace a broad definition of success and to implement research-based strategies that promote student well-being and engagement with learning. We believe that our society has become too focused on grades, test scores, and performance, leaving little time for kids to develop the skills necessary to become independent, resilient, and ethical individuals. Learn more about our impact and how to support our mission. Challenge Success is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Stanford University Graduate School of Education.
