This week, Donald Trump publicly wished for an economic crash in the next
12 months to benefit his own political interest at the expense of millions
of hard working Americans.

"And when there’s a crash, I hope it’s going to be during these next 12
months," Trump said, saying it would make President Biden look like
Herbert Hoover.

Ironically, when Trump left office, Yahoo News [ [link removed] ]reported, "Trump to
leave office with the worst jobs record since Herbert Hoover." So…it’s
pretty clear who is the 2024 Herbert Hoover.

Meanwhile, The Guardian [ [link removed] ]reports that leaders from the PCCC and Data For
Progress recently "held meetings with top officials in the White House,
House and Senate Democratic leadership, and senior political operatives
around Washington" to brief them on new poll numbers showing how Democrats
can win in 2024 on economic issues.

President Obama's former Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer called this
polling "a real formula and roadmap for Democrats to adopt going forward
which I think can be very, very, very useful."
