John,

We’re pulling together to battle a global health pandemic. Families are staying home to do the right thing. Healthcare workers and other first responders are risking their health and their lives.

Meanwhile, the White House and Senate are looking to help their friends in the oil and gas industry.

That’s right: Trump and Big Oil’s cronies in Congress are getting ready to ram through a bailout for the same massively rich and profitable companies that are driving the climate crisis. Meanwhile, everyday Americans are sacrificing so we can beat the pandemic.

Every dime that goes to frackers and oil companies should be going to make virus test kits, ventilators, and masks; to increasing hospital capacity; and to helping all Americans get through this very difficult time.

Food & Water Action is pulling out all the stops to sound the alarm and keep any Big Oil bailout OUT of any coronavirus relief bill. Will you help us mobilize now by making an emergency donation to help stop the coronavirus Big Oil Bailout?

It’s outrageous that billion-dollar fossil fuel companies could get bailed out, while everyday Americans are asked to sacrifice. So many people are already suffering from the economic, social and health impacts of the coronavirus, while the federal government scrambles.

Even worse: Big Oil and the frackers will use their “gift” from taxpayers to drill for oil, build more pipelines and worsen the climate crisis.

It’s common sense: coronavirus relief should be going to support the everyday Americans who need it most, not the billion-dollar fossil fuel companies behind the climate crisis.

That’s why we’re mobilizing right now, so we can beat this proposal in Congress. Together, we can make sure there’s no bailout for Big Oil in any coronavirus relief package that Congress passes.

Will you make an urgent donation to help stop the Big Oil Bailout?
