Every time a state passes abortion restrictions or a new ban, it becomes more and more dangerous to be pregnant in our country.
It will be two years in June from when the Supreme Court rocked our nation and overturned nearly 50 years of precedent – and they just allowed Idaho to uphold its extreme ban on abortions even in medical emergencies.
Since the Dobbs decision, I have worked with my Democratic colleagues to introduce legislation that will mitigate the impact on women’s health.
From shielding health care providers to protecting personal reproductive health data to fighting for access to medication abortion – I am not backing down.
