Resolving resolutions

Friend,

Do you ever find yourself feeling guilty when a New Year’s resolution quietly fades away after January? We have the perfect solution: Simply complete a big resolution this week and shed all your guilt!

Not only that, we have the perfect resolution for you: Help us restore Title II and Net Neutrality for a free and open internet by adding your name to our petition right away.

The deadline for submitting public comments to the FCC is exactly one week from today. We’re all hands on deck to make sure the agency knows that the public demands real oversight of ISPs to protect against sensitive data breaches, hidden fees, connection throttling, privacy violations and countless other shady behaviors.

We're grateful for your support,

Friend,

This new year could bring a new era of internet freedom: We have our best chance in years to reinstate the Net Neutrality rules and restore the FCC’s Title II authority — which will give it the power to stop ISP abuses. But we have to act fast: There’s just one week left in the public-comment phase of the FCC’s rulemaking process.

I’ve been doing some thinking about what life could look like if we win back Title II and Net Neutrality:

The Internet in 2024: Out and In

We’ve been fighting for a free and open internet together since 2006 — I truly believe that victory is on the horizon in 2024, but we’re going to have to sprint to the finish line. In these last few days before the FCC closes the public-comment period, will you join me in urging the agency to pass a swift reinstatement of Net Neutrality and Title II?

Cheers to a new year and new protections for the internet,

Heather and the rest of the Free Press team
