Today, Ohio House Republicans voted to override Governor Mike DeWine's veto of House Bill 68. This discriminatory bill undermines parental rights by banning gender-affirming healthcare and prohibits trans girls and women from playing on sports teams that match their identities. Important medical decisions like these should remain between youth, their parents, and their medical providers--not politicians!
This bill now comes back to the Senate for a vote, and we need your support. The Ohio Senate Democrats are already working to convince Republicans to either vote against override or abstain from voting, but the more voices we have, the better!
