2023 was an incredible year for labor organizing in Sacramento, and we're ready to make this one even better. ?Join Sac DSA's Labor Committee for our first meeting of the year to help us set our organizing priorities for 2024.

Film Screening,?Healing Us

Sac DSA's Healthcare Committee and the Wellstone Progressive Democrats of Sacramento are co-hosting a viewing of the film?Healing Us,?a walk through the key arguments in favor of a universal, publicly funded healthcare system narrated by actress Susan Sarandon. ?We will be joined by the film's director, Kenny Ballentine, and producer/editor Maddy Purves.

Time: Friday January 12th, 6 PM - 9 PM

New Member Orientation

Did you recently join DSA but aren't sure how to get plugged into your chapter? ?Have you been a DSA member for a while and are now ready to get active for the cause? ?Are you just interested in learning more about the history of the chapter and some basic organizing skills? ?Then join us at our first New Member Orientation of 2024. ?Come, meet comrades, tell us your socialist story, and learn how to be more involved.

Following the orientation, many of our comrades will be joining our community at the Capitol Steps to rally and demand an end to the genocide in Palestine!
