Folks — we have a child care crisis in America.

By now, you may have even seen it for yourself. While we have a record share of parents in the workforce, the demand for child care has not led to an increase in access. In fact, after pandemic-era funding to the child care sector ran out, early childhood centers are struggling to keep their doors open.

Our government has the power to improve the child care sector so all parents can work while their children are cared for and protected, yet Republicans are too focused on culture wars to address the actual issues at hand — like funding childcare. It’s our job to elect Democrats who will prioritize Americans and keep self-interested Republicans out of office.
