"A recent Pathway Home operation conducted in Pomona put dozens of residents experiencing unsheltered homelessness onto a pathway to permanent housing. Since launching in August 2023, LA County?s Pathway Home program has housed nearly 400 people and removed 144 recreational vehicles from neighborhoods and communities. "

We also seek input on how to address inequities in the existing tree canopy across the region. Join the Los Angeles County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs on January 17 for Modern Warrior Live [ [link removed] ]?event?at 7:00 pm at the Bob Hope Patriotic Hall.?This immersive production tells the story of US Army veteran Jaymes Poling and his experiences in Afghanistan. The event combines narrative and music to highlight the challenges veterans face and spark discussions on mental health with a special focus on fire service and law enforcement personnel. The performance is free to the public and brings a message of hope, resilience and Post Traumatic Growth through storytelling, music and immersive video to LA county veterans and first responders.
