I'm neck and neck with my opponents in the race to become California's next senator, and leaders like Ro Khanna, Stacey Abrams and Pramila Jayapal have endorsed me because they know Californians deserve a true progressive fighting for them.

I'm ready to take my fight for justice to the Senate where my lived experience as a Black woman making change for Californians will give a voice to those who are currently voiceless. But it's going to take every one of us doing our part, and I'm counting on you to help power this campaign forward, John.

I'll be honest: Looking at my current fundraising numbers, I won't be able to compete with the millions in establishment and out-of-state special interest contributions my competitors have stockpiled if I don't hit my daily digital fundraising goal at midnight. So I'm not exaggerating when I say that missing this goal and falling behind could spell disaster for this campaign.
