In light of the current situation, our institute is closed to the public effective immediately until further notice. In order to protect the health of our course and exam participants, our employees and patrons, all face-to-face German classes, exams and events at the Goethe-Institut Washington have been suspended. Online German Courses April 2020

In light of the current situation, our institute is closed to the public effective immediately until further notice. This does not mean, however, that you need to stop learning German. With the Goethe Institut’s online group courses, you are able to learn German from the comfort of your home (office!) with lessons customized to your schedule. You will not be learning alone, but in a small group of between five and 13 participants. Our courses will help you to improve your German language skills through various exercises presented within authentic, everyday situations using up-to-date online instructional technology, with live sessions approximately every two weeks.
