As community-based organizations continue to play an increasingly important role providing services and filling inequitable gaps left by education, health and so many other sectors, we need not only more of their work, but new ways of thinking and problem-solving that is for them, by them – and they need the time and resources to do it.
In the first webinar of our Community-Driven Innovation series, we will explore what it takes to reshape power dynamics in social innovation so that communities are in the driver’s seat when it comes to creating new, impactful solutions. A panel of visionary leaders from philanthropy, community organizing and social services will share their experiences as change agents, discussing in-depth how to shift power to ensure communities can define their most pressing problems and design what works for them. Join us for a dynamic and candid discussion about what it means to invest in communities and collectively advance racial health equity through innovation.
