Hey John,

Too many lives lost. Too many children killed. Too many families heartbroken.

We need a ceasefire in Gaza. If you’re with me, I’m asking you to chip in to help defend our values from those trying to silence our calls for peace.

I’ll be real: I’m scared about how things are going. There are signs this war might widen further into the Middle East. That would be a disaster.

But there are also signs that our movement for peace, love, and humanity is gaining momentum.

At first, I was one of only 18 members of Congress calling for a ceasefire. Now there are 64.

Our courageous calls for peace are changing hearts and minds. I know that won’t bring back any of the 20,000 Palestinians civilians killed. But if we keep it up, it could save countless more.

I believe true security and true peace for ALL people starts with a ceasefire. But right-wing megadonors are spending millions to silence me. Please chip in to keep our movement loudly and proudly calling for what’s right.
