Hi John,
I’m sorry to keep reaching out like this — after the holidays, I know your inbox is probably as full as mine! But in full transparency, our campaign won’t succeed without continued grassroots support, and these emails are one of our best ways to connect.
Now that the election year is here, we’re really kicking things into high gear: We’re traveling across North Carolina to meet with voters, we’re handing out pamphlets and distributing yard signs, and we’re staffing up to build a winning campaign team. Our expenses increase with every passing day – and that means our fundraising has to increase to stay on pace.
John, before I continue, I need to ask you to click here to donate $10 or another amount that’s right for you.
We’re committing significant resources to making sure North Carolina voters hear our message and have all the information they need to cast an informed ballot. In a race this tight, every single vote matters.
Meanwhile, our opponents and the NC GOP are dead set on buying this Governor’s Office through dark money investments and out-of-state funds. My opponent has already spent $3 million on TV ads this cycle and is falsely attacking me.
Taking them on won’t be easy, and it isn’t cheap.
Missing any one of our fundraising targets could throw our plan for victory off course. We carefully budget all of our efforts and expenses — and falling short would mean we’d have to cut back.
The earlier your contribution comes in, the more effectively we can budget for future expenses. So if you haven’t yet had the chance to make your first donation now is the time to do so. Donate right here.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your help,
Josh Stein
