Virginia Republicans are trying to limit access to early voting in the critical election year of 2024 — and they’ve made it clear this is a top priority for them in this legislative session. 

It’s one of the first bills they're introducing!

We know why they’re doing this: Republicans resent that Democrats had such a strong showing in the 2023 elections, so now, they’re trying to silence the will of the majority.

Limiting early voting only serves to discriminate against people who have a hard time making it to the polls on Election Day — like working parents, elderly voters, disabled voters, and folks who have to work on Election Day for hourly wages. 

Early voting improves our democracy. It’s that simple. And Republicans want to roll it back.

The only way we are going to put an end to attacks on democracy like this is by electing champions like Tim Kaine, defending the Democratic Senate majority, and passing federal legislation that will protect and expand the right to vote.
