Let’s kick off 2024 with purpose, Friend! Our community is on a mission to create a safer and more accepting world for everyone. Did you know that LGBTQ young people who reported feeling accepted by the adults in their lives typically had more than 40% lower odds of attempting suicide in the past year? In 2024, we're committed to being part of the support system LGBTQ+ young people can turn to, always.
Join us in our 40 Meaningful Miles Facebook Challenge ([link removed]) , a virtual activity where you commit to moving 40 miles — however it feels best for you to move — throughout the month of January. Whether you are an avid runner, a Peloton rider, or love long walks, you can inspire others to raise funds in support of our mission to end suicide among LGBTQ+ young people while doing your favorite activity.
Here's how you can take action:
* Join Our Facebook Group: Connect with the Trevor community in our 40 Meaningful Miles Facebook Group ([link removed]) .
* Create Your Fundraiser: Follow this link ([link removed]) and we’ll automatically create a fundraiser with all the right settings on your behalf. You can edit the details on Facebook upon creation.
* Log Your Miles: Register in Facebook Messenger to log your miles throughout January. Whether you are a part of a team or go solo, every step counts!
