Hi friend,

As we continue to push for more testing and resources in Congress, I'm very aware that across New Hampshire and the country, daily life is being transformed by the rapid spread of COVID-19. We have all had to make changes and sacrifices to keep our community healthy -- but some have been impacted more than others.

My thoughts are with New Hampshire’s most vulnerable residents, including those who don’t have a roof over their heads. That’s why I want to draw your attention to the work of Waypoint, an organization that combats homelessness. They are seeing an increased need and only expect the demand to rise in the coming weeks. I had planned to attend Waypoint's annual SleepOut and spend an evening sleeping out in a downtown Manchester park like I did last year. But in accordance with social distancing, this event is now virtual, so I'm doing what I can to raise awareness by turning to all of you.

Waypoint is on the front lines of this crisis, ensuring everyone has access to basic services and necessities as our communities grapple with this public health challenge. Due to moving this year’s SleepOut online, Waypoint is facing a budget shortfall of almost $50,000, and they are in severe need of basic supplies like toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and wipes. If you have the ability, please help them make up this shortfall and give today.

If you would like to join me in participating in this year’s virtual SleepOut, you can find more information here and please use the hashtag #NoRestUntil to help raise awareness for this crucial cause.

Thank you and stay safe,

Chris
