In Israel and the occupied territories, the ICRC strives to bring about a difference in people's lives through its activities and programmes. 

Since the dramatic escalation of the conflict on 7 October 2023, the ICRC is sparing no effort to attenuate on both sides the humanitarian consequences of an unprecedented crisis.

There is a crisis brewing in Chad…

The humanitarian crisis in Chad is one of the largest in the world:

• 3.6 million people are in urgent need of food aid.
• Over 2.4 million people have been forced to leave their homes.
• Violence has also taken a toll on the livelihoods of 17 million people.

Despite the overwhelming odds, nothing stops our team in Chad.
