Join me in calling on the NCAA to stop discriminating against female athletes.
Friend,
Title IX is still under threat and our demands to protect it and equal opportunity for female athletes continues. This has resulted in my personal outreach to the head of the NCAA itself, Charlie Baker.

As a long time athlete, coach, PE teacher, wellness coach, fitness instructor, mother of four grown children and advocate for women, I view it as my responsibility to be a voice against the discrimination women face today in their own sports. Opportunities that Title IX allocated for women are being given to males, which truly defeats its purpose and the reason why females similar to myself fought so hard 50+ years ago.

READ THE LETTER ([link removed])
I was five when Title IX was originally passed. I am incredibly proud to be included in the first groups of women who not only benefited from Title IX as it provided scholarships and athletic opportunities for women like me. Even more gratifying, I was able to watch my coaches and mentors continue to fight to ensure Title IX was upheld in education and sports.

I’ve watched in dismay as women have been pushed aside in their own sports and increasingly male athletes are taking spots on teams, trophies, and even scholarships meant for female athletes.

When I spoke out against it, I was silenced. When I chose to go public with my story ([link removed]) , I was removed from my coaching position and offered an administrative job simply because I chose to point out the injustice of allowing men to play in women's sports.

Charlie Baker is in a unique position. Should he choose to see the light and use his voice, he could be a hero and make a radical difference in preserving the integrity of women’s sports. I've talked to coaches, athletes, administrators, officials, parents, spectators and supporters. The majority agree that women’s sports should be for women - biological females - only.

And I’m inviting you, Friend, to join me in the fight to preserve women’s sports.
TELL CHARLIE BAKER TO KEEP WOMEN’S SPORTS FEMALE ([link removed])
With gratitude,

Kim
