Hi team,

Earlier today, I had the pleasure of giving my sixth State of the State address at the State House in Trenton in front of my esteemed colleagues, friends, and family.

Over the last six years, my administration has made our state stronger and fairer — creating opportunities for all New Jerseyans, no matter their background. We’ve strengthened our economy, lowered taxes for working families, and invested in our state's young people to have the best schools in the nation.

Let me share with you some of the vision I laid out during my address and show you how our work in New Jersey will continue to help achieve our shared vision with Stronger Fairer Forward of getting the American Dream working for everyone.

In our seventh year working together to better our state, my administration’s goals are focused on our state’s working families. We will do the hard work to make New Jersey an even more affordable place and the best state in the country to raise a family.

We will achieve this by working with the Legislature to pass vital legislation on issues facing New Jerseyans, like medical debt and access to more affordable housing. We also will continue our work to cut taxes for the middle class, strengthen our organized labor workforce, and create more opportunities for economic growth by leading the way in new and innovative industries.

New Jersey is also proud to be a leader in protecting the rights and liberties of all our people. We’ll continue to defend reproductive rights and voting rights against all challenges and ensure New Jerseyans are safe by upholding gun safety laws. We’ll keep reforming our criminal justice system and investing in our public education system so that children across the state can jumpstart their lives knowing they have received the best education possible.

New technologies and industries like AI are taking over fast, so we’re taking AI head-on with a new initiative, AI Moonshot, that I was proud to announce earlier today. AI Moonshot will empower innovators in the AI space to discover new possibilities and help create new jobs and economic opportunities for people across our state.

Over the last six years together, we’ve made New Jersey stronger and fairer than ever, and now my administration is ready to create even more progress so our working families can thrive and live in the best state to raise a family.

I’m proud to be in this fight to better New Jersey, and with folks like the people at Stronger Fairer Forward by my side, I have no doubt that we can ensure all New Jerseyans can make the American Dream happen for them.
