Oil allies are relentless. Pushing their agenda late into last year, they marked up a bill to REVERSE ALL the protections Alaska Wilderness League has helped put into place for the Arctic over the last 3 ½ years.
That’s why with in these still-early days of 2024, we’re asking for your help to defend polar bears, Arctic fox, musk oxen, caribou and birds like snowy owls, spectacled eiders and others from looming development plans in the Arctic.
Supporter, I just double-checked our records and didn’t see your name in our donor report. Can we count on your support to protect the homes of these cold-weather critters?

Just last month, Alaska Wilderness League defeated the bill to force a drilling mandate in the Arctic Refuge, but industry still won’t give up. And, ConocoPhillips’ huge Willow project remains on the horizon.
Our wild creatures have few resources to persevere during this time of climate crisis. Yet, their Alaskan home continues to be a major target for oil and gas development. |
