We all know that 2024 promises to highlight the differences between the Right and the Left in our state, and country. To help guide our coverage of the 2024 legislative session in WA, we want to know your thoughts on the most critical issues facing our state!

Please take our survey and give the Shift team your input on the most pressing issue that state lawmakers should address during the upcoming 2024 legislative session.

Here are the key issue areas being set up for debate in Olympia:
  1. Public Safety: Repealing previously passed laws that hinder police officers from performing their duties, contributing to an increase in crime rates.
  2. Affordability: Reducing existing taxes and addressing the housing crisis to make living in our state more affordable.
  3. Education: Ensuring K-12 standards are upheld and solidifying parental rights within our public education system.
  4. Initiatives to the Legislature – and then the People: Highlighting the six initiatives submitted by Let’s Go Washington, putting a spotlight on the efforts to repeal the state’s carbon tax and state income tax on capital gains, banning future local incomes taxes, allowing police to again pursue car thieves, letting people opt-out of the state’s insolvent Long-Term Care scheme, and including parental rights in our public education approach.
