Lisa Anderson | Director of Young Adults

My first day back from Mexico, I was home from work with a slight fever and body aches. Naturally I figured I had coronavirus and would soon be dead. My symptoms have passed, but I’m still doing everything necessary to isolate and stay well. My church is on hiatus for at least two weeks. The office is on mandatory “work from home” until further notice. (Don’t worry: We’re still creeping in with appropriate social distancing to tape each week’s show.) As someone on immune suppressants, I could be freaking out. But I’m trying not to. Instead, I’m reminding myself daily that God is in control. Because He is. Whether or not I really believe it is evidenced in the way I live these days. Not foolishly, but not fearfully, either. Join me and my friend Geremy for some thoughts on the virus as we share our candid musings and a little advice in this week’s Culture segment on the show.
