IMPORTANT - 2023 CRASH YEAR END INFORMATION AND DEADLINE

To ensure inclusion in the 2023 Statewide Traffic Crash Data Year End Report, agencies must have all outstanding 2023 crash data submitted to the Traffic Crash Reporting System, no later than February 9, 2024.

We would also like to remind agencies, that all fatal crash reports need to be submitted to the Traffic Crash Reporting Unit office, as soon as possible.  Please do not hold the UD-10's that are waiting for prosecution, lab results, or medical examiner reports.  The crash report can be corrected at a later date if changes to the original data are needed.  If you have questions regarding fatal crash submissions, please contact the Michigan FARS analysts at:  [email protected].
