CHEYENNE ? Ice fishing season is in full swing with anglers droppings lines across the state. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department reminds anglers of safety practices before venturing onto the ice. Ice on many waters may not be safe, especially with variable temperatures and wind conditions throughout the state.

CHEYENNE ? Wyoming Super Tag hunts have a reputation for being special and many hunters dream of the chance to draw one of 10 premier licenses in the Cowboy State. For those seeking a once-in-a-lifetime hunt, there are only a few days left to enter the Super Tag raffle. The deadline to buy tickets is midnight Jan. 31.

LANDER ? The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has confirmed the presence of chronic wasting disease in Elk Hunt Area 28. The disease was confirmed in a hunter-harvested cow elk in late December 2023.
