Following the expulsion of George Santos from the House of Representatives last month, Democrats in New York worked quickly to nominate former Congressman Tom Suozzi to return to Washington.
Tom is the kind of champion for the people we need on Capitol Hill. During his previous terms in Congress and his decades of public service, he has fought to hold polluters accountable, expand affordable healthcare and prescription drug access, invest in infrastructure for the modern age, and work across the aisle to get things done.
New York’s 3rd Congressional District will be headed to the polls on February 13th for this special election, and we have the chance to turn this seat blue ahead of the general election. This is an election we can’t afford to lose.
