The political news out of Colorado is far more urgent and important for the future of American democracy than it may seem. 

With Lauren Boebert abandoning her district and running in a crowded GOP primary on the other side of the state, we not only have an open seat in her current district (CO-03) to win, we have a chance to bring her turbulent and terrible political career to an early close.

Now another huge announcement has shaken up the 2024 calculus even more: Rep. Doug Lamborn, already a target of ours in his Colorado Springs area district, will not run for reelection this year.

A chance like this to level the odds and have the best shot at flipping so many seats rarely, if ever, comes around—and we need to be ready to compete on all fronts.
