This fight for a better Maryland has shown me one thing: the resilience of Marylanders across the state. I am honored to join the cause to pass meaningful legislation that will have an actual impact on the everyday lives of all of us. On the day-to-day, most folks aren’t thinking about the petty Washington fights or the happenings of the state legislature. They are waking up every day to work, to spend time with their families, and to live their lives. My administration is laser-focused on making every day just a little bit easier. I won’t let extremists pass their agenda to get rid of our freedoms. I won’t let them make our lives harder when we should be doing the opposite. So as I head into my second legislative session, I am ready to get to work.
