Dear John,

As we all grapple with the uncertainty and devastating impacts of COVID-19, I want to emphasize how deeply grateful we are to have you in our community. You are on our minds and I hope you and your loved ones are keeping healthy and safe.

Physicians for Reproductive Health has long advocated for access to high quality health care, affordable health insurance, and paid family leave. This crisis highlights how vital it is we continue to work together to protect ourselves, our families, and everyone in our communities.

I want to update you on the steps we’re taking to carry out our work, while also doing our part to prevent this virus from spreading:

-- Protecting our staff: Physicians has been a virtually virtual organization for several years, so our staff are well prepared to work safely and effectively from home. We are also practicing social distancing and adhering to all local and federal safety guidelines.

-- Supporting our doctors: The clinics and hospitals where our physician advocates work are doing all they can every day to keep their patients and teams healthy. We are committed as ever to them. They continue to take time from their busy schedules to be voices of science and reason in this crisis. Please support their advocacy during this difficult time with a donation today.

-- Postponing our Benefit: To ensure our supporters and friends are safe, we are postponing our annual Voices of Courage Benefit to September 14, 2020. Tickets are on sale now. By purchasing tickets early, you can help us make up the lost income needed to run our programs over the next few months.

Our country, more than ever before, needs the voices of our physician advocates to safeguard access to reproductive health care amid this crisis and stop the spread of misinformation.

I will continue to update you on the work we’re doing together and how you can stay involved. We’re grateful for you and determined to keep fighting for the healthy lives we all deserve.

Please take care and be safe.

Sincerely,

Jodi Magee
President/CEO
