Friend of Trust for Public Land,

The House of Representatives recently voted for a federal funding bill
that poses a significant threat to our efforts to safeguard national
monuments and public lands. If enacted, this legislation will:

*  Halt the protection and management of Ancestral
Footprints of the Grand Canyon National Monument, designated by President
Biden under the Antiquities Act;
*  Cut funding for the management of Grand
Staircase-Escalante National Monument;
*  Prohibit the protection of crucial lands by
President Biden under the Antiquities Act, such as Owyhee Canyonlands
in southeastern Oregon and the expansion of Berryessa Snow Mountain
National Monument in California.

Time is of the essence, and we cannot afford to delay. Take immediate
action by urging your senators to oppose these harmful attacks on our
national monuments and public lands.
