John, one truth about human trafficking is the vast number of children who are trafficked for sex around the world. As of 2022,
nearly 1.7 million children have been trafficked and forced into commercial sexual exploitation around the world. That number of children equals the population of Phoenix, Arizona.

January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and we hope friends like you will give today
to help send rescue and restore the lives of more children who have been trafficked and exploited by the perpetrators of these crimes.

I have witnessed the fear and sorrow that young victims of sexual exploitation feel. I have been active in rescue operations. I have stood in brothels, holding the hands of young girls rescued.
And I have seen the amazing dignity these children hold on to, even in the face of darkness.

Please give today to help children who have been exploited. Together we can prove another truth about human trafficking — that when caring people act, it can be ended.
